Finding Treasures

When I had the ability to roam outside as I pleased (in my 20’s), I volunteered most of my time to various organizations to help out the community. One organization was aiming at “beautifying the neighborhoods” by decorating walls with murals in “rough” neighborhoods. We would create murals with bright colors, motivational messages, etc. It was so rewarding and a lot of fun! I remember a time when I found some kittens. They looked so harmless, so innocent. They were just abandoned there, no protection, alone. So of course, I took them in and kept them until they passed. 17 years. Lost them one week apart. It was like they couldn’t live without each other. It was a really hard time in my life, but couldn’t help smiling when thinking about how “human” they were. I can honestly say I found little treasures that day and my life was enriched by that experience. Rest well my sweeties, mama still thinks about you.

Today, we are featuring a super fun outfit created by the adorable Little Toast from Vinyl Apparel. 

“Apricot Jam” jeans are designed with rips in the middle and bottom of the jeans. They are absolutely fun to wear, bringing back this “youthful” flair that we tend to lose when we grow up. 

“Waffles Wrap” top is a gorgeous top wrapping around your neck from one shoulder. This look is super sexy and if worn alone, can be combined with an evening dress and voila, automatic formal wear! I absolutely adore this little top for its fun, yet classy look.
