Looking Forward

On the day of my wedding with Claus, I was not thinking about taking pictures or what tomorrow would bring to us as newlyweds. I was too nervous and could only think about our guests and if they were comfortable and entertained, making sure I got on and off the ball on time, having my vows in a folder that would be easy to find in that black hole I call “inventory”, hoping the wedding pictures would turn out beautiful, answering IMs from my coordinator about standing here and there for pictures, cutting cake pose, garter toss pose, etc. But now, as I take this picture, I think about how we were back then and where we are now. The challenges we faced, the conflicts we had, the love we share. Most of all, I think about what is coming ahead of us and I must say, I cannot wait to embark on that adventure!

Today, we are featuring a stunning gown from our marvelous designer Annie Melson from Just BECAUSE. The “Mya” gown is an AnnieRose Collaboration between her and her teenage daughter. Her daughter designed the gown and Annie brought it to life in Second Life. A customizable HUD enables this beautiful gown to be worn as a long gown suitable for formal events, or a short dress perfect for a night on the town, or simply to looking fabulous while walking around the wonderful world of Second Life.
