Friendships
Friendship. A very powerful word that has a tremendous impact on our lives. It is the cure to loneliness as well as the factor for great sorrows. You can have an ocean of friends but only have one or two “true” friends. Some friendships will lead you to find your soulmate. For me, this word is as powerful as the word “love”. I would go as far as saying that friendship is the foundation of love and love is the glue to true friendship.
A few months back, I joined a wonderful organization called Sisters In SL. A group of women just hanging out, chatting, helping and supporting each other. I am fortunate to have met wonderful women, including Joanee Mayflower. She is a beautiful individual with a kind soul and a wicked sense of humor.
Being part of the Blogger & VLogger Network, a challenge was presented to us by the owners to conduct a collaboration. I was fortunate enough to have been paired up with my sister Joanee.
We had a wonderful time shooting this picture. You can view her version of our collaboration on her wonderful Flickr. The location – The Four Seasons – is an impressive, gorgeous sim and I will have to go for a longer visit the next time.
It is amazing how the world is more interesting with friends and my life has been enriched by adding this wonderful lady in my circle of friends!
