Precious Time

Mother’s day weekend. For many, it will be a pleasant occasion to reunite with their mother. In Canada, our restrictions have been loosened up a little bit, which will allow many to go see their mothers. Having lost my mom less than 3 years ago, I will not have this opportunity and to this day, the pain is almost the same as the day she passed in my arms. It is usually one of the hardest times of the year for me. My mother was an amazing person, always smiling. You would automatically become her friend and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for you. She would brighten your day with her smile. I can say that she loved me unconditionally and it was only later in life I understood that. I wish I could turn back time and tell her how much I love and cherish her. So if you are fortunate to have your mother around, hug her, kiss her, thank her, and tell her how much you love her.
