Coastal Retreat
The sea. So appealing, so mysterious. It looks like it has a life of its own, with mood swings. Calm at times, inviting, loving, comforting. Completely wild at times, menacing, dangerous, cold as ice. I find the ocean absolutely fascinating. The power of the ocean has always humbled me, and I am sure that feeling is shared by many others. So large, wide, and deep. There is still so much to learn and to discover about it, with so many hidden treasures to still be discovered. There is something exhilarating about standing on a pier near the ocean during a storm and something so calming when the storm is over and a ray of sunshine peeks through the clouds.
