Pryce: Bloom of Spring Campaign 2021

Well hello there! Been a while! hahaha!

Yes, I have been out of commission for the past month or so. Unfortunately for me, had a bit of an accident with a snow bank and really, really hard sidewalk, breaking my Humerus and dislocating my shoulder. Emergency surgery took place, hospital stay for a few days, fun times my friends, fun times.

I must say I was feeling quite sad and depressed for a while, having to take care of myself with only one arm. However, I do consider myself lucky since it could have been way much worst (cracking my head, breaking a leg, etc.). Fortunately for me, it was my left arm and I am right handed. So yes, someone was watching over me that day!

On February 18, I saw an email from the wonderful Mr. Lawrence Pryce, inviting me to create a spring-like picture for his Bloom of Spring Campaign. I hesitated since I was unable to move my left arm, making it impossible to properly edit a picture in Photoshop. But I figured, since the deadline was a month away, I could work on the picture bit by bit and make it happen. You cannot imagine how wonderful it felt to get back into SL, create a scene, put an outfit together, take the picture, and edit in photoshop…it was wonderful. Made me forget about my troubles. Mind you, it was a painful process, but so worth it!

So here she is, my beautiful little Spring lady, trying to spread a message of hope and happiness to all who will listen!
